There’s a new lake record at the Monument One.
The Shropshire day-ticket water produced this 46lb 4oz mirror, known as Richie, to Luke Michaels.
It was Luke’s first visit to the RH Fisheries lake and he caught the fish about 60yds out from peg nine.
RH Fisheries’ Harry Hales said: “It was Luke’s first-ever session on the Monument complex and it was also his personal best.
“Luke caught the fish on an Edge wafter over two or three kilos of the Edge boilies.
“The last capture of Richie was on October 12 last year, when she weighed 45lb.
“The originals have been putting on huge amounts of weight due to the bait that we have started to introduce and the feeding that we do at the complex.”
