A debut visit to Linch Hill Fishery produced one of the venue’s top fish for David Brennan.
The 42-year-old from Swindon target Christchurch on the Oxfordshire complex and caught the Box Common at 39lb 8oz.
He said: “This was my first-ever trip to Linch Hill.
“The old faithful Sticky Krill wafter topped with a piece of plastic corn did the trick for me, landing Christchurch’s Box Common at 39lb 8oz, smashing my personal best.”
David baited with a total of 5kg of Krill boilies, sweetcorn, hemp and Cloudy Krill liquid.
He presented his hookbait on a blowback rig made with Fox Camotex Soft and a size 6 Fox SSBP hook.
