The success of the Big One at Farnborough has led to the introduction of a new event for Midlands anglers - the Big One Stoneleigh.
This weekend (April 13 and 14), the National Agricultural and Exhibition Centre (NAEC) at Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire will become a haven for anglers of all disciplines.
Here are some of the carpy tidbits to look out for.

Catch a top talk
The John Wilson Legends Theatre is the place to catch a thought-provoking slideshow at Stoneleigh.
On Saturday, Mark Holmes will get your grey matter working from 1pm.
On Sunday at 10.45am, Alan Blair will bring his boundless enthusiasm to the stage.
Other talks across the weekend include Jeremy Wade (both days), Paul Garner and Des Taylor, plus many more from the match and coarse worlds.
Shimano’s new showstopper
Shimano has a big presence at the show and will be proudly displaying the new Isolate bait range.
The Shimano team will also be showing off the beautiful and reasonably priced SpeedMaster XTC 14000, which went on sale for the first time at the Big One Farnborough.

These drew huge crowds at the Big One Farnborough and although they’re still working prototypes with no firm release date, you’ll be able to assess them yourselves at Stoneleigh.
Hutchy back in full swing
The Rod Hutchison brand is back under British ownership and will be showing off a heap of new stuff at the show.
One of those products is the lightest full-length throwing stick anywhere on the market…
FishSpy Echo Pro
The newest hi-tech gadget in carp fishing will be on show at Stoneleigh. The Echo Pro marries FishSpy’s existing camera system with a castable sonar.

New Nash kit
Nash has teamed up with a retailer to have a typically large display at Stoneleigh. There will be lots of 2019 kit to see.
We hope the new powered barrows are brought along. If they are, do check them out!
Stock up on Sticky
Stalwarts of the UK show scene, Sticky will have plenty of exclusive deals on offer.
One of our favourites has to be the surface-fishing kit, which includes 3kg of floaters, a bucket, hookbaits and salmon oil for £20. Expect big boilie deals too.
Bring your old line with you
The National Anglers Line Recycling Scheme is arguably the most important stand at the show.
Take your line there and they will recycle it, whether it’s mono, braid or fluorocarbon. It’s so much better for the environment than sending it to landfill.
